Milan, March 9, 2026Fastweb + Vodafone stores on the territory become points of listening and support for women victims of violence. Thanks to the collaboration with the Libellula Foundation — an independent foundation committed to the prevention and fight against gender violence — Fastweb + Vodafone launched training courses for staff working in its stores in 2025. So far, almost 350 employees operating in 120 stores in the main regional capitals, provinces and municipalities in the area have been trained to offer listening, support and guidance to those who face a situation of violence or to those who know a person in danger. In addition to recognizing the various forms of violence (physical, sexual, psychological, economic, digital) and its dynamics, operators are able to provide useful information for contacting the anti-violence and stalking number 1522 (free, 24 hours a day, multilingual) and downloading the Bright Sky app for free, which provides resources and concrete tools such as the mapping of support services throughout the country, the quick call to 112 and questionnaires to assess the degree of risk of a relationship.

The stores involved in the project are recognizable by the stickers with the imprint of a hand and the inscription “Stop gender violence”. If you need help, get in.” The training will be extended to other stores across the country, with the aim of involving 1,350 shop assistants by 2030.

A new corporate policy against violence

Fastweb + Vodafone has introduced new measures to protect its staff with a policy on domestic violence, which allows those who have suffered or suffer violence, with full respect for privacy, to take 15 days of paid leave (in addition to the days required by law for people already included in protection courses), psychological support from a competent doctor, free psychological support, social assistance, financial education and legal advice. For victims of violence with situations of established seriousness, greater flexibility is also provided, with the possibility of requesting a different modulation of the percentage of agile work, of being assigned to a different company headquarters and of changing contacts to protect the person.

“Fastweb and Vodafone have always been involved in projects to fight all forms of violence against women. It is part of the identity of both companies, which today are a single reality with an even stronger voice to make more and more people understand — both inside and outside the company — and ever more deeply the seriousness of the phenomenon of gender violence. For this reason, in addition to strengthening collaboration with territorial associations, today we are adopting a new policy for the protection of those who, within our organization, are victims of violence. We want to try to make a real difference, and spread a culture of respect that values all uniqueness and accelerates a change in society,” said Silvia Cassano, Chief People Officer of Fastweb + Vodafone.

In-company training

In collaboration with CADMIHome for the Reception of Abused Women, the first Anti-Violence Center founded in Italy, the company organized a training course of three meetings dedicated to the awareness and prevention of violence against women open to the entire corporate population.

Along with PARI., an association of companies and organizations that Fastweb + Vodafone helped to found to make the fight against gender violence a collective and concrete commitment, webinars and monthly in-depth meetings are organized on specific topics, in a protected and non-judgmental participatory context. To date, the events open to the public and the webinars dedicated to the staff of the companies associated with PARI. have reached more than ten thousand internal and external participants.

Fastweb + Vodafone also supports the MUPA, Museum of the Patriarchate, the exhibition promoted by ActionAid that until 21 March at the Steam Factory in Milan wants to imagine a future free from gender violence, staging, like a speculative archive, the present as if it were a distant era. The company will also participate on Saturday, March 14 at 4.45 pm in the talk “Normalizing Violence” on the legitimation of violent behavior.

The social awareness campaign

On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, Fastweb + Vodafone launched a new social awareness campaign in collaboration with D.i.Re — Women on the Net against Violence, a group of 89 organizations on Italian territory, which manages 118 anti-violence centers and more than sixty shelter homes. The campaign will last two weeks and is aimed at women of all ages and wants to pay attention to the first signs of a possible situation of violence and denial of rights, to the “cracks” that day after day can damage the serenity and security of one person due to the prevaricating attitudes of the other.
