Milan, April 28, 2026 – Just a few months after the corporate incorporation of Vodafone Italia into Fastweb on January 1st, Fastweb + Vodafone takes a new concrete step in the integration process, with the definition of a harmonized framework for employee benefits.
In a context of strong competitive pressure and transformation in the telecommunications sector, the company has quickly defined a common model that aligns the best practices of both organizations, while confirming distinctive elements in terms of flexibility and welfare, including the short week – with half day off on Friday – and a smart working model that allows remote work for up to 2/3 of days on a quarterly basis.
Among the numerous areas subject to harmonization, also parental support and in this area the provision of paid leave lasting 4 months for parents who do not access the maternity treatment provided by law.
The result consolidates the industrial integration process, strengthening operational coherence and long-term sustainability, ensuring employment continuity in a complex phase for the entire sector.
"Quickly completing a step like this, in a sector that is experiencing profound transformation, is a clear signal of the solidity of the industrial project" declared Walter Renna, CEO of Fastweb + Vodafone. "The integration is proceeding rapidly and allows us today to operate as a single entity, stronger and more competitive. We have built a model that starts from the best experiences of both companies, maintaining advanced levels of organizational flexibility and attention to people. It is an essential element to support our execution capability and face the sector's challenges".
The harmonization was formalized through an agreement with trade union organizations, following a constructive dialogue that allowed reaching shared solutions in a short time.
