Fastweb has been awarded the Consip tender for the supply of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services to the Italian Public Administration, consolidating its role as a strategic partner for the digital transformation of the PA.
The award covers Lot 1 of the Framework Agreement for the supply of public cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) services, issued by Consip as part of the Strategic ICT Procurement Plan, with a total value of 150 million euros, extendable up to 216 million euros.
As a certified supplier, Fastweb will make available to public entities through the simple placement of a digital order on the Acquisti in Rete della Pubblica Amministrazione portal — the full portfolio of qualified AWS services, organised across the 23 macro-categories defined by the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), within a certified and immediately operational contractual framework. This eliminates the need to prepare specific tenders and significantly accelerates the adoption of strategic cloud services.
With Fastweb's support, public administrations will have access to concrete tools that align with the objectives of the Three-Year Plan for ICT in the PA, enabling them to accelerate their transition towards innovative, secure, and high-performance digital services.
"The award of the Consip tender for AWS cloud services confirms our role as a reference operator in the ICT market and a certified partner of the Public Administration for digital transformation. This recognition reflects our ability to guarantee high standards of reliability and performance through continuous investment in infrastructure and technology" said Augusto Di Genova, Chief B2B Officer of Fastweb + Vodafone.
Through its strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Fastweb also obtained in 2025 the AWS Premier Tier Services Partner certification — the highest level within the AWS Partner Network — further enhancing its Enterprise offering in a Multicloud perspective.
