Milan, December 10, 2025 – For the third consecutive year, Fastweb and Vodafone Italia have confirmed the maintenance of the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, which attests to their ability to adopt concrete measures to foster an inclusive work environment that respects gender equality.
The certification assigned to Fastweb by the certification body Bureau Veritas and to Vodafone by the certification body RINA testifies to both companies' commitment to promoting equal opportunities and places them among the Italian organizations most attentive to fostering inclusion in the workplace.
For the certification assignment, Fastweb and Vodafone Italia were evaluated in relation to six key indicators: culture and strategy, governance, HR processes, growth opportunities and inclusion of women, pay equity, protection of parenthood, and work-life balance. The final evaluation was positively influenced by the presence of structured systems, formalized and widespread procedures, the high level of awareness and involvement of people, and the presence of a series of good practices ranging from inclusive language to welfare programs, from work-life balance measures to internal and external training plans against gender violence.
"The confirmation of the certification testifies to the robustness of Fastweb and Vodafone Italia's practices, behaviors, and policies, and the common commitment to building a welcoming work environment for people," says Silvia Cassano, Chief People Officer of Fastweb + Vodafone. "A great achievement that already has us looking forward to next year's certification when we will present ourselves as a single, integrated company. In this regard, we have established a committee that will oversee the already initiated harmonization process of Fastweb and Vodafone Italia's internal policies as well as the measurement of key indicators based on the new structure of the company."
In addition to the UNI/PdR 125:2022 certification, Vodafone has also obtained for the second consecutive year the Diversity and Inclusion ISO 30415:2021 attestation, which testifies to its commitment to valuing all diversities and ensuring equal opportunities in all business processes and promoting a fair, safe, and inclusive work environment.
