Confindustria Emilia Area Centro and Fastweb + Vodafone have signed an agreement to broaden access to digital training across the region and strengthen the skills of workers within the Emilian business community.
Fastweb Digital Academy, the school for digital professions of Fastweb + Vodafone, is in fact making available, as of today, a selection of courses from its training catalogue dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, within Study in Action, the e-learning platform of Confindustria Emilia Area Centro available to members and employees, designed to share training content and reskilling pathways for professional roles, and to support companies and professionals in their digital transformation.
The available pathways range from the responsible use of AI, to prompt engineering techniques for querying artificial intelligences more effectively, through to topics of security and privacy. Considerable space is dedicated to guides on how to make the best use of the leading chatbots, from Claude to Perplexity, and on to ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. The offering is completed by courses more oriented towards productivity and creativity, aimed at producing strategic analyses and more effective presentations, as well as visuals with AI.
Through this collaboration, Confindustria Emilia Area Centro and Fastweb + Vodafone aim to make Artificial Intelligence an increasingly accessible and tangible lever for local businesses, providing the skills needed to seize its opportunities and to compete in a rapidly evolving market.
Since its founding in 2016, Fastweb Digital Academy has reached over 1.3 million participants in its free training courses, open to all; it has delivered more than 1,800 live-streaming courses and has produced 190 video-courses that are permanently available on the platform.
"For our Association, helping companies enter the world of AI with awareness is one of the most pressing priorities. The goal for the companies in our region must be to automate starting from skills. Indeed, technical profiles are needed that today simply cannot be found on the market, because they have not yet been trained, or not trained sufficiently. For this reason, the agreement with Fastweb + Vodafone becomes an opportunity to expand and further enrich the content of our e-learning platform Study in Action, which for several years now has been available to our companies and their employees," commented the Director General of Confindustria Emilia, Tiziana Ferrari.
"Artificial Intelligence is redefining the way we work and do business, and with this agreement we are bringing the training heritage of our school directly into the Emilian business community through concrete tools capable of turning AI into an opportunity for growth," stated Anna Lo Iacono, Head of ESG at Fastweb + Vodafone.
