Combating gender-based
violence

Fastweb + Vodafone is strongly committed to preventing and addressing gender-based violence—a key pillar of our sustainability strategy. With over 7,200 employees and daily interactions with thousands of people, we believe it is essential to train our workforce to recognise, prevent and counter violence and to guide victims to support services.

Training and prevention

We collaborate with Fondazione Libellula and CADMI (Casa delle Donne Maltrattate) to train all employees, especially retail staff. We have adopted an internal policy dedicated to preventing gender-based violence. We are co-founders of PARI., an association of companies committed to a society free from violence and femicide. We also promote Bright Sky, a free app offering training content, practical advice, self-assessment tools and access to a map of anti violence centres across Italy.

Bright Sky

Together with CADMI (Casa delle Donne Maltrattate di Milano) and the Italian State Police, we introduced Bright Sky in Italy — a completely free app designed for people experiencing a high risk relationship or for those who wish to support someone facing abuse. The app includes training content on gender-based violence, featuring key definitions, concrete examples and activities aimed at debunking common myths. Users can also access practical guidance and self assessment questionnaires to understand whether they may be in a dangerous situation. The app provides a mapping tool of the main anti violence centres across the country, including those belonging to the national D.i.Re network, helping users identify the nearest centre for support. Bright Sky is used by over 300,000 people in Italy and is freely available on both Android and iOS stores.
