Energy Efficiency

The increase in data traffic and network expansion create significant challenges for telecommunications, making it a priority to contain the generated impact.
Fastweb+Vodafone has a dedicated Energy Management group to identify improvement and energy efficiency actions. These actions generated a nominal annual saving of approximately 7.8 GWh for 2025 alone.

Renewable energy

But the commitment to efficiency optimization is not enough: Fastweb+Vodafone is strongly committed to the fight against climate change, which is why 100% of the electricity purchased has been produced from renewable sources since 2015. This allowed the company to avoid the emission of more than 94.951 tons CO2eq in 2025.

Renewable energy production

Fastweb+Vodafone's commitment to clean energy is also supported by the signing of long-term PPA (Power Purchase Agreements) based on renewable plants located in Italy and by on-site generation initiatives.
