Max Gasparroni has been appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer of Fastweb + Vodafone. Starting in May, Gasparroni will join the company’s Executive Committee and will report directly to CEO Walter Renna. He will be responsible for the integration and development of fixed and mobile network infrastructures at a time of significant transformation in the telecommunications market. His goal will be to drive technological innovation and the implementation of next-generation digital services.

Gasparroni brings over 25 years of experience in the IT sector. Since 2022, he has served as Vice President at Liberty Global UK, where he led the development of 5G mobile services and cloud solutions. Prior to that, he built his career at Vodafone UK and Ireland, holding increasingly senior roles over two decades, eventually becoming Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he was responsible for defining strategies for infrastructure deployment, 4G standard development, and business technology solutions across eight European markets.

Gasparroni began his career in Milan at Cefriel before moving to the UK in 1999 to work at Motorola on mobile network development.
