Fastweb Digital Academy's training courses are as of today available on AppLi, the public platform promoted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies in collaboration with INPS, which supports job seekers in Italy.
Fastweb Digital Academy, the school for digital professions of Fastweb + Vodafone, is making available a wide selection of courses from its training catalogue within the Ministry's platform, in order to broaden access to digital education in Italy and strengthen the skills of workers.
AppLi – "Personal Assistant for Work in Italy" (Assistente Personale per il Lavoro in Italia) – is a virtual coach based on generative artificial intelligence that offers personalised support to define and build one's career path, with practical and immediate tools for guidance and professional training, the search for job opportunities, the drafting of CVs and cover letters, and interview simulation.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Ministry, the platform is being enriched with Fastweb Digital Academy's professional training courses, which range from AI to new technologies—such as cybersecurity, cloud, blockchain and 3D printing—through to design, communication and digital marketing. Links to 120 courses available online on demand on the Fastweb Digital Academy platform are already accessible on AppLi, and over the coming months the entire training offering will be gradually made available.
Since its establishment in 2016, Fastweb Digital Academy has reached over 1,300,000 participants in its free training courses, open to everyone, has delivered more than 1,800 live-streaming courses and has produced 190 video courses that are always available online.
"In a constantly evolving labour market, knowing how to use new technologies is a decisive factor for employability. Thanks to the collaboration with the Ministry, through Fastweb Digital Academy we can further help to close this skills gap by offering workers concrete tools to build their professional future," said Anna Lo Iacono, Head of ESG at Fastweb + Vodafone.
