Fastweb + Vodafone presents Fastweb Power Control, the new solution designed to help users understand and manage their home electricity consumption more consciously.
The solution combines Power Control Plug, the smart plug associated with the service, and an integrated digital experience in the MyFastweb and My Vodafone apps, providing a practical tool to monitor consumption in real time, receive notifications in case of relevant energy events, and access useful information to better understand personal energy usage habits.
Through the dedicated dashboard, customers can: view the power being used at home, helping them identify how various appliances impact total consumption thanks to NILM technology (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring), consult information on the most favorable time slots, and receive personalized suggestions for more efficient and conscious home energy management, all without requiring electrical system adjustments.
The service's operation, guaranteed through the Chain 2 remote management functionality available on second-generation meters, has been designed to be simple and immediate: the customer verifies their meter's compatibility, receives the Power Control Plug directly at home, connects it to a household outlet, and configures it through the app via a guided digital process. Within 24-48 hours of configuration, the dashboard begins to populate with the first consumption data.
Fastweb Power Control is accessible to all electricity customers from any provider and can be subscribed through the digital and commercial channels of both brands. The service can be deactivated at any time without additional costs, and the device, which can also be used as a smartphone charger, remains the customer's property even after service deactivation. The service is available at a one-time price of €19.95 for the device and €3 per month, on promotion at €1 per month for customers who activate it by August 31, 2026.
The project was developed with the contribution of specialized partners representing Italian excellence in the sector, such as Sinapsi, a leading company in the IoT segment and in the production of hardware/software technology for energy monitoring, Veos AI, an enertech pioneer in developing platforms with Artificial Intelligence engines applied to the energy sector, and SBS, an international reference point in the production of technological devices and accessories.
With Fastweb Power Control, Fastweb + Vodafone strengthens its innovation path and expands its range of digital home services, putting connectivity, data, and artificial intelligence at the service of its customers to optimize costs and acquire greater energy awareness and more advanced home environment management.
