BTicino and Fastweb + Vodafone launch BTicino Sicuri e Connessi, a system that ensures the experience of an always-connected home through the development of an infrastructure designed to keep all household devices active.
From video cameras to thermostats and alarm systems, every device communicates via a dedicated and reliable network, operating on Fastweb + Vodafone’s 5G mobile network, the most awarded in Italy, for a stable and high-performance experience.

“Collaborating with such a prestigious partner as Fastweb + Vodafone can only make us extremely proud. BTicino looks to the future of the connected home with the aim of always being a driver of innovation, always taking one step further. BTicino Sicuri e Connessi represents that additional step forward, where connection reliability is combined with enhanced security. Today, talking about smart homes means placing data protection solutions at the center of the debate, and with Fastweb + Vodafone we wanted to start precisely from this point,” comments Diego Gianetti, Commercial Director of BTicino.

“Connectivity represents the enabling element for the development of the smart home ecosystem,” says Augusto Di Genova, Chief B2B Officer of Fastweb + Vodafone. “A reliable and high-performance network allows intelligent devices to operate in an integrated, secure and continuous manner, enabling more efficient management of domestic environments. The collaboration with BTicino allows us to deploy our technology to implement advanced solutions capable of supporting innovation and offering stable, efficient and future-oriented digital services.”

The system’s connectivity is designed to always operate at maximum performance on Fastweb + Vodafone’s 5G network. The technology used automatically optimizes the signal, ensuring service continuity. In fact, customers do not have to worry about anything, as the system is able to automatically leverage the best signal offered by the network infrastructures in the installation area, making connectivity more stable and high-performing and ensuring constant operation.

Centralized management and remote monitoring

BTicino Sicuri e Connessi does not require any complex configuration procedures. The router is supplied preconfigured and is constantly updated automatically, and BTicino is the sole technical point of contact for the entire smart home network. A BTicino technician specialized in configuring the Home + Control app adapts the interface and functions to the customer’s actual needs and takes care of the dedicated connectivity, continuous monitoring and assistance, thus ensuring constant control of the system’s status, even remotely.

BTicino, the Italian leader of the Legrand Group, operates nationwide with an organizational structure that includes 12 industrial sites, 7 R&D centers and approximately 3,000 employees, and is present on the Italian market with the offerings of its main brands: BTicino, Legrand, Cablofil and IME.

Fastweb + Vodafone: With over 20 million mobile lines and 5.8 million fixed lines, Fastweb + Vodafone – part of the Swisscom Group – is the leading infrastructure-based operator in the Italian telecommunications market, with more than 20,000 radio sites and a proprietary fixed network of over 74,000 km, capable of ensuring nationwide mobile and fixed coverage, 50% of which is FTTH.
