Fastweb Digital Academy, the school for the professions of the future founded in 2016 by Fastweb and now an integral part of the Fastweb + Vodafone strategy for spreading digital skills, kicks off the new year with an even richer educational offer and reaches another important milestone in support of the country’s digitalization: since its inception, one million people have participated in its digital skills training courses.

This result consolidates the Academy’s role as a reference point in Italy for recent graduates, people seeking their first job, and professionals pursuing upskilling and reskilling in digital professions.

According to the latest survey conducted among students, over 80% of respondents acquired solid digital skills that can be immediately applied in both work and daily life. In terms of economic impact, the Academy generated a benefit of over €7 million for the country in 2025 alone, based on the free courses offered, and recognized with the “Impact Award” granted to the Academy during the 2025 CSR and Social Innovation Fair.

Alongside young people and first-time job seekers, the trend of growth continues among employed individuals who turn to the Academy to update their skills. Today, approximately 50% of enrolled participants are already employed, while 42% of the total are aged 35–64, reflecting a growing demand for reskilling and upskilling across all age groups and a desire for a comprehensive educational offer.

Through the Fastwebdigital.academy website, around 170 on-demand courses and over 250 live streaming sessions are available each year, divided into five main areas: Digital Creativity, Technology & Cybersecurity, Digital Workplace, Soft Skills, and Digital Marketing & Communication. These include professional training paths in Cybersecurity developed with academic and industry partners, as well as the “AI Collection,” a library of over 70 courses dedicated to artificial intelligence, covering everything from prompt engineering to vertical applications in productivity, design, music, and social media. The offer also includes targeted programs for the Public Administration, developed in collaboration with national and local institutions.

The Academy has further expanded its educational offer on the most revolutionary technologies with new courses starting in January 2026, including the path to becoming a “SOC Analyst,” which will provide practical and theoretical skills to understand the most advanced cyber-attack and defense techniques. In the AI field, the course “Analyzing the Market and Studying User Interests through AI” will start in January, helping participants interpret user behavior and translate data into marketing strategies and business decisions, alongside “Prompt Engineering,” a program to explore advanced methodologies for obtaining more precise and useful responses from artificial intelligence.

“Thanks to the experience of Fastweb Digital Academy and a constantly evolving educational offer, we support people in developing concrete digital skills that can be applied immediately. The real challenge is to go beyond training and create the conditions for innovation to become part of both work and daily life,” said Anna Lo Iacono, Head of ESG at Fastweb + Vodafone.
