Milan, 7/11/2025: Fastweb + Vodafone and Cellnex Italia – a company part of the leading European tower market group - announce the renewal, for an additional 12 years, of the multi-year strategic agreement aimed at enhancing coverage and quality of connectivity services throughout the national territory, and extend the scope to the development of a 5G upgrade plan in Italy.
The agreement provides for the use by Fastweb + Vodafone of over 1000 sites owned by Cellnex Italia distributed throughout the national territory for the installation of 4G and 5G radio equipment.
The agreement also provides for the possibility of further cooperation in the coming years, in line with the country's infrastructure and digital growth plans, laying the foundations for industrial collaboration capable of generating operational efficiencies, optimizing investments, and ensuring long-term sustainability.
The agreement takes place in a context of growing demand for advanced digital services and confirms the commitment of both companies to contribute to the development of a robust, resilient, and secure telecommunications ecosystem, while promoting infrastructure accessibility and coexistence among different players in the sector.
